One of the very first mission trips that Youth Missions International (the former name of Base Ministry) took was to South Korea. The Awana ministry in South Korea has a strategy for evangelism and discipleship of teaching English to kids. This is a highly sought-after skill in South Korea and necessary (at this point) for ministry around the world. In fact, South Korea has become the second leading sender of international missionaries in the world, and English is a starting point for many of these kids.
