Eastern Europe has seen a lot of turmoil and unrest in the last few years. The very first trip taken by Youth Missions International (the previous name of Base Ministry) was to Ukraine. While this country has been devastated by the war that started in 2022, the gospel has not stopped going forward!

Our partners in Ukraine are Awana Ukraine, and they have continued to run ministry to help their fellow countrymen. They have seen many people coming to church because of the situations they find themselves in. By having trained leaders who are ready and willing to share their faith in the Gospel of Jesus, they are able to bring hope for this life and the next.
