Overview:
Boasting high mountains and the famous Machu Picchu World Heritage Site, Peru is a land full of spectacular beauty. Peru is also home to the 5th largest city in Latin America - its capital, Lima. A major metropolitan area, Lima boasts modern buildings and all the amenities you would find anywhere else in the world. At the same time, it is also host to areas that have extreme need. Your team will find that the people of Peru will be open to your proclamation of the the Gospel of Christ during your time there.
Ministry Description:
While in country, you will work in partnership with Peruvian missionaries, Julio and Rosario Serrano. During your team's stay, you will be given opportunities to work with local churches to reach out to their communities through relational evangelism while helping train Peruvian youth to lead ministry themselves. In addition, your team will have opportunities to share how Jesus changed their lives by giving their testimonies.
Overview:
South Korea, also known as the Republic of Korea, is a modern nation with a rich history. Once a united country on the Korean Peninsula, South Korea now is the southern part of a split Korea. North Korea, its neighbor, grabs many headlines here in the U.S. for its political views and relationship with the nations in the region. Regardless of what the media portrays, South Korea still very much desires to unite (when the time is right) with the North. Although it has an established Christian Church, Christianity accounts for only 30% of the overall population, making the sharing of the Gospel an important need. South Korea is a wonderful place to serve alongside brothers and sisters in Christ from another continent while reaching even more people with the Gospel.
Ministry Description:
While in South Korea, your group will be sharing Christ while teaching basic English to children. Using curriculum developed by Base Missions and Awana Korea, you will run 3-5 day English camps. During these camps your group will have time for instruction, games, songs with motions, and a chance to share about who Jesus is and how He has made a difference in your life.

Overview:
The Pacific Northwest, a region known for its large group of people with no religious affiliation, is in need of more people willing to share their faith in Jesus Christ. A fast growing region, more and more people from across the nation and around the world are calling this place home. As a result, churches here are doing all they can to creatively reach out to newcomers and established residents alike. The need is great and churches are looking for more assistance in reaching their communities.
Ministry Description:
Partner with a church as they reach out to their community through VBS, sports camp, or other relational evangelistic programs. Churches in the Northwest often need help reaching their communities in creative ways, and often lack the volunteers to run the events that may help grow their congregation. That's where your group steps in. By providing a week of enthusiastic help in ministry, your youth group can help a church grow in their impact for their community.
Included in your trip:
Base Missions provides you with an opportunity to train and send your group on a mission experience that will be a catalyst for evangelism when they return home. You will receive a leader guide to coach you throughout your mission experience and 24/7 personal support should you have questions. Before you go, Base Missions staff will visit your site to make sure your ministry will be sustainable, effective, and impactful.
Overview:
Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory in the Caribbean. It was originally settled and controlled by Spain but became part of the United States in 1898. The island boasts some of the nicest beaches in the world, great baseball players, and stunning colonial architecture. Like many Islands and countries in the Caribbean, Puerto Rico is predominately Roman Catholic in religion which can make it a challenging place to do evangelistic outreach.
Ministry Description:
While in the country, you will partner with national pastors. You will help direct children and youth outreach through sports, VBS, or backyard Bible clubs. You also will help train and equip churches in running children outreach.
Overview:
Sometimes referred to as the "Bible Belt", this region is often overlooked when it comes to evangelism. After all, in the most-churched region of the United States, why would a need for this exist? It certainly does exist. Although people traditionally affiliate themselves with congregations, they may not be actively living for Christ. Groups entering this environment from other parts of the country can help start conversations that may lead to real-life change and new commitments made for Christ!
Ministry Description:
Your group will assist a church in forming relationships with children and families and introduce more people to a personal relationship with Jesus. This may be done through a sports ministry or a VBS.

Overview:
Our neighbor to the south, Mexico is the 13th largest independent nation in the world. Mexico is considered a federation, comprised of 31 states. Their culture is comprised of many different indigenous species, including the Mayans and the Aztecs. Occupying a majority of Central America’s territory, Mexico has one of the world’s largest economies. Yet, for being such a self-sufficient nation and seemingly independent, they are in desperate need of the Gospel and the saving grace of Jesus.
Ministry Description:
