Rayna Jansky

Hello, my name is Rayna! I encountered Jesus as a child through kids' ministries and adults who took the time to share the good news with me. Ever since then, I have had a passion to share Jesus with kids. I am excited to share with you about an opportunity I have to reach children with the gospel this summer! I will minister with Base Sports and equip churches to use sports as a ministry tool. Did you know that 50 million kids in our country were involved in youth sports in the past year? Kids love sports and learning new things. I have always loved sports and doing new and exciting things, so I am excited to reach kids with the gospel through sports. 

My focus with Base Sports will be coaching soccer at week-long sports camps from June 13 to August 10.  Many of the children who will come to camp do not know about Jesus Christ and His love for us. I’ll be on a team of four other college-age athletes, and we’ll travel the West Coast, partnering with churches to run successful sports camps this summer.  A primary part of what we will be doing is sharing the gospel and God’s word! 

This summer’s theme is Team Up! The verse is Ecclesiastes 4:9: “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor; for if either of them falls, one can help the other up.” We’ll teach kids about Jesus’ plan for our lives and how we get to be together with Him. However, I need to gather a support team for this summer to make it possible. I would love it if you would come alongside me and support me. 

My financial need is $1,000 to help with the expenses for this mission project. In addition, I’m enlisting all the prayer support I can get. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with this ministry?

I will keep you informed of my progress and the success of my missionary efforts. All funds I raise are used at the discretion of Base Sports and for the expenses of the entire team. 

My deadline for raising my full support is June 1st. As I’ve said above, I also need all the prayer support I can get! Please pray for my preparation for the summer and for me to finish this school year strong.  Once summer hits, I ask that you pray for my team as we travel and the kids and churches we will be working with along the way.
